Exploring IRBAS data

How to access and extract IRBAS data

Consultation

Not all IRBAS data is accessible in the same way. Only the datasets, sampling sites and sampling campaigns are publicly accessible. To consult the additional data from the sampling stations as well as the biological data are subject to the consultation settings defined by the creator of the data. The latter can make their entire project accessible in “open access” or restricted to specific users. The definition of these parameters is carried out on the page of the dataset in question.

The map

A global map of all sampling stations is available here.

Query on data

It is possible to carry out sorting queries on the data thanks to an interface available here.

The user is asked to filter the data according to the template (IRBAS for example), by sampling site or by category (biological, or physical-chemical data for example). At the end of this first filter the user can refine their query.

Once satisfied with his choices, the results are displayed in table form which the user can then select to access the data in more detail and export it if he wishes.

Extract data

Data export is carried out on the sample page. On the left part of this page a menu offers to export the selected data, in the form of a .csv file. The user can also choose to add (available) data relating to the sites, the dataset or the sampling campaign (survey) to this file.
